Received the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Art and Design (BS) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1989 and worked as an architectural designer in London, UK for one year.
Returned to the United States and enrolled at the Parsons School of Design. Received the Degree of Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture (MFA) in 1993.
Attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 1997.
Awarded the Emerging Artist Fellowship from Socrates Sculpture Park in 1998.
In 1999, attended artist residencies at Yaddo and at the Millay Colony for the Arts, before participating in the Marie Walsh Sharpe Foundation Studio Program for a year. Also, in 1999, awarded an Individual Artist Grant in Sculpture from the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA).
In 2001, attended the long-term residency program at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA.
Attended the MacDowell Colony for the Arts in 2006.
Attended the Djerassi Artists Residency Program in 2009.
Lives and works in Dutchess County and Brooklyn, New York.
